En Route, A Graphic Autoethnography, 2022
Above are select pages from the illustrated half of my BFA thesis ‘Slow Love.’ I discuss experiences of time and the climate crisis through the perspectives of a Brooklyn-based birdwatcher and a Los Angeles-based fermentation chef. A 35 page dissertation accompanies this 30 page graphic journal, though they also exist independently. My research methods included reading, interviewing and field experience.
‘You’re House,’ 2021
Written and preformed by Paige Davis and Erin Odenkirk (2021). This digital performance piece is presented as a conversation between two friends during the climate crisis. ‘You’re House’ draws metaphor between moving homes, growing up, and a changing planet.
